Overview
As part of the Blueprint API integration, each catalog item (equipment or service) can be assigned a SKU (Stock Keeping Unit).
The presence of the SKU determines whether the item is displayed in the Order module when the Master Account filter is applied.
Its value is transmitted to the Blueprint API during orders.
| ⚠️ The SKU field is available only on mytem360 US. It does not appear on mytem360 EU. |
SKU on an Active Equipment Record
Where to find the field?
Go to Settings > Catalog Management > Active Devices Catalog, then open the detailed equipment record for which you want to enter the SKU.
The SKU field is located in the table in the "Distributor" section:
| ℹ️ The same equipment can be distributed by multiple distributors with different SKUs. The SKU field is therefore filled in line by line, for each distributor. |
Entering or Modifying a SKU
- Open the record of the active equipment concerned.
- In the "Distributor" section, locate the row for the distributor for whom you want to enter the SKU.
- Click on the cell in the "SKU" column — it will switch to edit mode.
- Enter the SKU value (alphanumeric characters, dashes, leading zeros accepted).
- Confirm by pressing Enter, clicking elsewhere, or clicking the validation icon (✓). To cancel, click the cross icon (✗).
| Property | Details |
|---|---|
| Accepted Format | Alphanumeric — letters, numbers, dashes, separators, leading zeros |
| Typical Length | 8 to 12 characters |
| Mandatory | No — the field is optional. A distributor without a SKU remains valid |
| Uniqueness | No check — the same SKU can be entered for multiple distributors |
| Sorting / Filtering | The column is sortable and filterable like other table columns |
SKU on an Active Service Record (Subscription or Option)
Where to find the field?
Go to Settings > Catalog Management > Active Services Catalog, then open the active service record of the subscription or option for which you want to enter the SKU.
The SKU field is located in the "General Information" section:
| ℹ️ Unlike equipment, a service is linked to a single provider. The SKU is therefore a unique field per service record — there is no multi-distributor table. |
Entering or Modifying a SKU
- Open the record of the active service concerned.
- In the "General Information" section, locate the "SKU" field.
- Click on the field and enter the SKU value.
- Click "Validate" to save all changes in the section, or "Cancel" to revert to the previous state.
| ℹ️ The "Validate" button saves all fields in the "General Information" section simultaneously — not just the SKU. Reloading the page after validation displays the saved value correctly. |
Impact of the SKU on Display in the Order Module
The presence or absence of a SKU directly affects the visibility of the item when the "Master Account Only" filter is active in the Order module:
| Situation | Effect in the Shop (Master Account Filter Active) |
|---|---|
| Equipment with SKU entered for at least one distributor | The item can appear in the filtered results |
| Equipment without SKU for any distributor | The item does not appear with the Master Account filter active |
| Service with SKU entered | The item can appear in the filtered results |
| Service without SKU | The item does not appear with the Master Account filter active |
⚠️ The absence of a SKU is not an error and does not prevent the item record from functioning. However, an item without a SKU will not be transmitted via the Blueprint API during an order involving a Master Account. |
