All parts of the software |
The main ideas
Mytem360 is modernizing. From its previous technology, Flash Player, mytem360 moves its form and contents to HTML5 in order to provide users the best fluidity and user experience possible.
The goal is for users to quickly and clearly capture data, and navigate efficiently and intuitively using an application with a streamlined design.
1. Full screen view
The entire software and its data are viewed in one full screen, which differs from the previous version under Flash Player. This gives the users better ability to read and capture information.
2. Movable KPIs and widgets
Adding and moving KPIs and widgets
The KPIs and widgets are listed in a specified zone in the screen.
In order to include them in the Welcome page, you can simply click on the narrow vertical window (arrow icon) that appears as you move the mouse over it.
Once you have chosen the KPI, you can just drag and drop it in the zone meant to capture your KPI (delimited by green dashes).
The KPIs and widgets now appear bigger and can be moved anywhere in the Welcome page.
You can add as many KPIs and widgets as you would like.
3. Horizontal navigation
Table of uploaded invoices
The table of uploaded invoices can be accessed through a button in the navigation menu.
This table is always accessible regardless of the modules a mytem user has subscribed to. It opens and occupies the left part of the screen.
When there are many screens open in the dashboard, we can just click on the bottom of the screen to quickly navigate to another view.
Dashboard and invoice details
The horizontal navigation is active through the breadcrumb within the dashboard.
4. Filters and actions in the mytem tables
Contextual searches and filters in the table are directly accessible in the columns rather than in dedicated search fields.
Each column is contextually associated to a descending/ascending filter function, the search fields or dedicated filters will be available once the mouse gets positioned to the heading.
Filter research
The filter is represented by a loupe (magnifying lense) .
It opens a search field that displays the hits associated to the item being searched for.
Filter by a drop down list
The filter is represented by .
A drop down list opens after clicking on the icon. You can select one or multiple items. For searches pertaining to dates, a dynamic calendar allows the user to automatically choose and click a date.
While this type of filter is applied, it will be indicated as having the same color as the table heading.
To delete this filter, you can simply click on the "x" next to the filtered information.
The feature "Remove filters" allow you to delete all the filters at once.
Sort
While sort (ascending or descending) is applied to one column in the table, a superscript icon will appear next to the column heading.
Unitary action
All the possible actions in a given row in a table are available by clicking on at the end of the row containing the information (such as a report) you would like to modify.
A list of actions will appear
Mass action
To perform an action in mass, or an action that applies to several items (like reports) at once, you have to click on the rows concerned.
Once clicked, the list of actions "in mass" will appear at the end of the heading row by clicking on
The mass action chosen will apply only to the rows which you have clicked on.
The tick boxes function by page. You can tick/untick them to add or delete items to be included in the mass action.
If a long list of reports is broken into several pages, you can choose to display them all in the same page (maximum 100 items though) to simplify the ticking the items for which you would like a mass action to apply.
If you would like to untick all the selected items at one, you can just click on the "x" next to the icon indicating the number of items ticked.
5. Sum in the tables
In all the mytem360 tables, items with numeric values relevant to users, like financial costs, are summed automatically in the last row of a table.
The sum remains constant even across multiple pages.
To be able to see a sub-total of certain items, rather than the sum of the entire table, you can tick the items of interest. The sub-total will be displayed in the upper right corner of the table. See an example below:
6. Legend
To streamline the view as much as possible, and because legends are rarely clicked on in comparison to action icons, the legend appears as you glide your mouse over the "i" icon at the bottom right of the table (the Mybox360 table).
7. Downloads
Download reports, exports, and table details
Reports
In comparison to mytem's previous version, mytem V5 allows a direct download. The reports are no longer compressed and can be opened immediately.
The mail informing a recipient that her report is ready also contains a link where the report can be downloaded as well.
Tables
The tables can be exported in csv. The download button is found on the top of the table.
The exports contain all the information present on the table. When a filter is applied to the information in the table, the exports will also contain only this filtered data.
8. From tabs to hyperlinks
We have replaced tabs with a breadcrumb-style hyperlink to access different sections especially in the set-up and administration menu. Clicking on a part of the bar gives you direct acess to the section in question.
9. News and notifications
News and notifications destined to the user are now available in the navigation bar on the upper right corner of the screen through a bell icon.
The number next to the bell indicates the number of unread messages (if there are any)
Notification headlines are listed once you click on the bell, and clicking on the + sign next to the headline displays the entire message.
