Search for a Location on PowerMap360

 

Search Feature

The search field provided at the top left of the module allows you to locate a site on the map.

Search queries cover the following objects: 

• Location: Location address, Location name, Reference, and Internal code
• Equipment: IMEI 1, IMEI 2
• Line: Line 1, Line 2, eLine
• Sim: SIM1, SIM2, eSIM
• User: Employee ID, First and last name

Searches are case-insensitive and handle accents.

Search results respect user rights (non-eligible locations are not offered).
 

After entering a search term, 2 options are offered to utilize the results.

1. Direct click on a suggestion:

As you type, result suggestions appear below the search bar.

Use the bar on the right to scroll through the suggestions.
 

• Each suggestion displays the object type, corresponding value, and a contextual label.
• Suggestions are visually differentiated according to the proposed object (Address, Location, Line, Device, User...)
• Characters from the query present in the suggestion are highlighted.

A direct click on a suggestion applies a filter on the site of the unique corresponding element/object, recenters/zooms on its marker, and displays its main information:

A "No results" message appears below the bar if no suggestion is found.

A "Clear" button (in the form of an “x” icon) resets the field.

2. Direct validation without selecting a suggestion

If the search is validated without selecting a suggestion:

1. the map displays all results for which a match was found with the searched key (multiple results).

2. a "Results" view appears in split screen. This view offers all results in the form of badges.

Focus on the "Results" view

The view displays a badge per result with the object type, corresponding value, and a contextual label.

Results are visually differentiated according to the proposed object (Site, Equipment, Line, Sim, or Collaborator)

When hovering over a badge: 

• The marker of the concerned site is highlighted on the map, if visible
• a "Select" button is offered.

After clicking "Select," the "Results" view closes and the map displays only the concerned site with focus applied to it.

The view offers at the top a filter by elements (User, Device, Line, SIM, Location).

The 3 small dots at the top right allow modifying the pinning of the "Results" view.

Search History

• A search history by root and by user is kept (local to the browser).
• The history is offered in preview (with a "clock" icon) and can be cleared by the user.
• Selecting an item from the history restarts the search with the same behavior.
