PowerMap360 allows you to display point-to-point links between locations connected to point A and those linked to point B.
To display point-to-point links:
- Using the “Individual” view: Links are displayed by default.
- Using the “Cluster” view: A site’s links can be displayed by right-clicking on the site marker.
The color of the line connecting the two sites varies depending on the link status.
| Active link: 100% of the lines in the link are active. | |
| Partially active link: At least one line in the link is inactive, and at least one line is active. | |
| Inactive link: 100% of the lines in the link are inactive. |
Displaying sites hosting point B
If a site hosting point B is outside the map’s scope, it will still be displayed with a hatched logo to differentiate it.
Below are the logos used according to the location status:
Marker indicating a site that is “Open” and outside the selected scope. This location hosts the point B end of a link.
Marker indicating a site that is “Under construction” and outside the selected scope. This location hosts the point B end of a link.
| Marker indicating a site that is “Closed” and outside the selected scope. This location hosts the point B end of a link. |
Hovering over a link with the mouse
When you hover over a point-to-point link, the main details of the link are displayed:
- Name, status, and address of the location hosting point A
- Name, status, and address of the location hosting point B
- The link status
The color coding used for the displayed information matches the link’s status.
Left-click on the link
When you left-click a visible point-to-point link on the map, the screen splits into two areas: map and table.
The table area displays, in the header, the main details of the link:
- Name, status, and address of the location hosting point A
- Name, status, and address of the location hosting point B
- The link status
The color coding used for these details matches the link’s status.
All lines associated with this link are displayed, regardless of their status.
Hyperlinks on the line numbers open the detailed line record in a new tab.
The table supports pagination, sorting, and filtering. A field library is available to create custom profiles and share them.
Link management rules
A link always links two distinct sites (A ≠ B). |
| A link can connect two sites that share the same address (A = B). |
| The displayed links correspond to site pairs taken from the Cabling/SDA section of the line record. |
