Selecting the Analysis Period for the Trends Module

The period selector in the Trends module offers the ability to: 

• select a period consisting of 1 or more consecutive months (up to 24 maximum)
• select a period consisting of 1 or more consecutive quarters (up to 8 maximum)
• use shortcuts to directly select the last 3 months, last 6 months, last 12 months, or the current calendar year.

To access the Trends module, go to Billing -> Trends

1. To display the Period modal, click on the period logo or on the analysis period, located at the top of the page, to the right of the module name:

2. The Period modal opens: 

A controller offers two options: "month" and "quarter":

 

"Month" mode:

• The scale displays up to 24 rolling months maximum
• If fewer than 24 months are available, the scale adjusts to the actual number of months detected in billing
• Each graduation corresponds to a single month
• The rightmost graduation corresponds to the latest available billing period

Shortcuts are also offered to reach the desired period more quickly: 

• Last 3 months
• Last 6 months
• Last 12 months
• Current calendar year

"Quarter" mode:

• The scale displays up to 8 rolling quarters maximum
• If fewer than 8 quarters are available, the scale adjusts to the actual number of quarters detected in billing
• Each graduation corresponds to a single quarter
• The rightmost graduation corresponds to the latest available billing period

Q1: January 1 to March 31

Q2: April 1 to June 30

Q3: July 1 to September 30

Q4: October 1 to December 31

 

Once your analysis period is chosen, confirm the modal.

The Trends table updates immediately taking into account the chosen analysis period.
