The Trends module table allows you to visualize expenses:
- by customizable organizational scope
- over a customizable rolling period (up to 24 months or 8 quarters)
-
by analysis dimension (segment, product group type, product category, product group).
The costs displayed in the Trends table therefore depend on:
- the selected scope (Click here to see the customization possibilities for the analysis scope)
- the selected period (Click here to see the customization possibilities for the analysis period)
- the columns (dimensions) you have chosen to display in your table (described on this same page).
When the analysis parameters are changed, the displayed data recalculates automatically.
To access the Trends module, go to Billing - Trends
Using the Table Data
The Trends table consists of two distinct blocks:
(1) "dynamic" columns from the field library
(2) periods defined by the period selector:
either monthly: up to 24 columns corresponding to the selected analysis period via the period selector and displayed in chronological order
or quarterly: up to 8 quarters corresponding to the selected analysis period via the period selector and displayed in chronological order
The left side of the table by default offers the following columns (dimension):
- Organization
- Segment
- Product group type
- Product group category
- Product group
You can edit the presence or absence of columns via the field library. However, the order of columns is not modifiable to ensure correct understanding of the table data.
By clicking on the field library, you have the possibility to create your custom profiles and to share them.
The right side of the table shows the aggregated cost per displayed period based on the scope, period, and chosen dimensions.
All amount fields display the currency of the login session.
The displayed amounts are dynamic depending on the analysis dimensions selected via the field library. This table behaves like a pivot table (based on IDs and not labels).
For example:
- I can choose to display only the "Organization" column; in this case, costs are simply shown by period:
- By adding the "Segment" column (via the field library), costs will be split and allocated by period across the 3 segments:
- By adding the other columns, up to the product group, the level of analysis becomes increasingly detailed:
The first row of the table shows that on the root 0_DEMO_INTERNATIONAL, the invoiced cost for the "Mobile" segment, for the product group type "Subscriptions," for the product group category "Main subscriptions" for the product group "Voice and Data":
- is $268.20 in December 2025
- there was no invoicing on these criteria in January 2026
Displaying the Detailed Trends Record
In the table, in the fields displaying costs, a hyperlink is offered that allows access to the detailed Trends record (either in a new tab or in the current tab).
Click here to access the page regarding the detailed Trends record.
To facilitate table consultation:
It is possible to freeze the left side of the table and scroll only the right side representing the period. Click on the pin at the top right of the table:
Once activated, the pin turns pink, and horizontal scrolling of the table applies only to the period part:
