Duplicate an inventory item in another organization

1 – Duplication in an organization

   Duplication in an organization is done only from a client organization.

1.1 - Looking up the item to duplicate in the inventory, click on “more menu” or the tiny three buttons next to the item.

Then click on “duplicate in an organization”.

 

1.2 - A window appears where you can select the new organization of the items to duplicate.

Click in the zone « inventory organization » to get a listing of all the client organizations available.

Choose the new organization where the items are to be duplicated.

 

1.3 - Once the new organization has been chosen (in our example "Customer" client organization), click on “Submit”.

 

1.4 - The duplicated items now appear in the new organization.

 

    The list of target organizations depends on the user’s rights. A user can only duplicate or move items around if he has access to a given client organization(s).
