Managing subordinate contracts |
Here are the rules set up to be able to link a contract as a subordinate to another:
- The subordinate contract must be for the same provider as the master
- A contract can only be subordinate to one master contract
- A master contract can have multiple subordinates
How do you add a subordinate contract on a master contract?
1. Go to Settings -> Contract Management
2. In the grid, click on the Agreement Name/Number you'd like to see the details of.
3. In the contract details, click on 'Subordinate contracts' at the top of the screen (or scroll down).
4. Click on 'Add a subordinate contract':
5. Select the contract(s) you'd like to subordinate to this contract and submit:
6. Right after submitting :
- The 'Subordinate Contracts grid is updated with the information you've just inputted:
In the general information of the subordinate contract, the 'Subordinate to' field is filled in with the Agreement name/number of the master contract:
How to unlink a subordinate contract from a master contract:
1. Go to Settings -> Contract Management
2. In the grid, click on the Agreement Name/Number of the master contract you'd like to delete a subordinate contract from.
3. In the contract details, click on 'Subordinate contracts' at the top of the screen (or scroll down).
4. Look up the subordinate contract you would like to remove from the master contract, click on the three dots at the end of the line and select 'Delete subordinate contract':
A popup will open saying 'The deletion of a subordinate contract is irreversible. Do you wish to proceed?'. Worry not, a subordinate can be linked back with the same master contract later.
5. Once you've submitted the change:
- The grid is updated to exclude the 'unlinked' contract
- In the 'General information' of the subordinate contraction that used to be linked to the master, the 'Subordinate to' field will be empty.
