Understanding the impact of product group changes in mytem |
The offers and products billed by operators are adapting to today's technologies and uses. To reflect this reality, we are reorganizing the product categories and groups displayed in mytem360.
In mytem, operator products are classified into 4 tiers:
(1) Segment: Landline, Mobile or IT Services
(2) Product type: Subscription or Usage
(3) Product category: Main subscriptions, Equipment, Options, One-time charges, Discounts and adjustments ...
(4) Product group: VPN, Internet, Ethernet, Fiber, Voice and Data, IoT, International features ...
These four levels can be found in the dashboard of the Billing module:

This change mainly impacts mytem360's financial component:
1. In the dashboard (Available in the Billing module / Dashboard):
The dashboard is a summary of the categorization of products billed by operators by segment, product type, product category and product group, which will be adapted to the new organization.

- Clicking on a product category displays a list of the product groups that compose it:
2. In the mytem360 reports

3. In the Widgets
The following Widgets now display the labels of the new product groups:
- Subscription cost trends by product group
- Usage cost trends by product group
4. For manual invoice entry
When entering invoices manually, in the “Line and products” step, when creating:

of a single service: the “Category” and “Product group” fields show new categories and product groups.
- bulk services via the import matrix: the new product group IDs to be taken into account are indicated in the “Correspondence table” tab.
