Main ideas and features of the dashboard |
The dashboard is mytem's main financial module. It allows for a flexible analysis by looking at different perspectives: from costs consolidated by product group or carrier, up to tiny details such as costs incurred by a single phone line.
Main ideas behind the dashboard:
- Cost breakdown
Telecoms and IT costs are grouped by segment (fixed phone lines, mobile lines, data or IT lines) and by product group (subscriptions, usage, add-ons).
The main product groups are Subscriptions and Usages.
Subscriptions refer to a plan's costs and the number (count) of these plans in the company.
Usages refer to the number of inbound and outbound calls, data usage, the volume of these calls and data, as well as the costs of the usage.
More importantly, these costs are analyzed in a scope and time-frame chosen by you.
The total sum in the dashboard, subscriptions and usages combined, based on your chosen scope and time-frame, is displayed in the upper right corner of the application .
The sub-total of Subscriptions and of Usages are at the bottom of the table indicated by the line "Gross Amount".

- Scope: filter your view by carrier or by client organization
When you open the dashboard, the data it shows is based on the scope set-up in your account, as well as the time-frame you choose.
You can therefore examine the costs in a scope such as the client's entire company, or only some parts of the client's company (what we call the client organization). The scope can also be costs grouped by carrier accounts (what we call carrier organization).
On top of the inital dashboard set-up, it in case you have many carriers, you definitely have the possibility to break down the costs by one or multiple carriers of your choice. This can be done by clicking on "modify" next to the carriers on the upper left corner of the dashboard.
When you click on "modify," a list of carrier appears with their costs in $ (or any currency you choose). There is also a visual indicator, a bar, showing how much of the total costs each carrier makes up.
- Analyze the data
- data in the table, growth/decline and percentages
When we analyze the dashboard in a monthly timeframe visual cues of decline, growth, and percentages in comparison to the previous month's figures appear next to the current values.
- graphical representations
The subscription and usage parts of the dashboard can also be viewed visually via charts, on top of its table form that we initially see.
To switch to a graphical representation of data, simply glide the ruler to the right
The information in the table will be transformed to a visual analysis.
- In usage, the analysis points will be number of calls, data volume, and costs of usage.
- In subscriptions, the analysis points will be the costs and count of subscriptions.
Clicking on the charts will reveal further details about the subject you are interested in.
