How to attribute to a line or group of lines a specific carrier / plan and policy |

What is happening per default?
When a line enrolls itself on Datalert, Datalert detect from the device the line' domestic carrier.
Datalert links then the line to the carrier.
- If the carrier is not defined yet into the settings, it will automatically add it to the carrier list (Settings /carriers-plans)
- If the carrier was previously defined:
- If any, the per default plan is attached to the line automatically
- If any, the per default policy of the attached plan is also attached to the line.
- If any, the per default plan is attached to the line automatically
How to change/specify plans and policies for a line or a group of lines?
If the per default plan and policy are not existing, or if you want to apply different ones to a line or a group of line, you need to proceed as follows:
To do the following, plans and policies you want to apply must be defined BEFORE into:

- Go into the Line menu
- Select the line(s) you want to modify carrier/plan/policy
- All selected lines must be from the same country and the same carrier
- To help you, you can use:
- The search bar (name, phone number, tag)
- The advanced filters
- The tags you may have added to the lines (on the right)
- The search bar (name, phone number, tag)
- Go into the "Select an action" combo box
- Choose "Define a plan"
- Select the carrier you want to link the lines to
Only carriers from the selected country will show up - Select the plan you want to attach to the line(s)
- Select the policy you want to attach to the line(s)
- Select the billing carrier date
- Submit
