Understand the effects of revoking a line or deleting a line in Datalert |

Revoke
What does "Revoke line"?
Revoke a line de-enroll a line from Datalert. The line is still visible into the account and is still using a Datalert license.
How to revoke a line?
- Go into the Line menu
- Select the line(s) you want to revoke
- Chose into the action combo "Revoke line"
- Submit
How to re-enroll a revoked line?
- Go into the line menu
- Select the line(s) you want to re-enroll
- Choose from the action menu "Send enrollment link..."
- Submit
- The selected line(s) will receive a text or an email message and need to follow the normal end user enrollment process.
Delete
What does "Delete line"?
Delete a line delete the line and all his related data from Datalert. It cannot be displayed anymore in the postal and is not using a Datalert license anymore. Its license can be used for another line.
How to delete a line?
- Go into the Line menu
- Select the line(s) you want to delete
- Chose into the action combo "Delete line"
- Submit
How to re-enroll a deleted line?
Before re-enrolling a deleted line, you need to add (again) the line to your account.
When the line(s) is/are added you can follow these steps:
- Go into the line menu
- Select the line(s) you want to re-enroll
- Choose from the action menu "Send enrollment link..."
- Submit
- The selected line(s) will receive a text or an email message and need to follow the normal end user enrollment process.
All the data previously visible on the portal for these lines will be lost.
