Smart Roaming
Roaming management is now improved with more smartness. When a user is traveling in a zone and goes over a threshold that disabled his data on the phone (1), and travels (in the same billing cycle) in another zone where he still has an allowance (2) and (3), the smart roaming is authorizing the phone to connect to the carrier for data usage again.
Previously after the data was disabled, the user had to wait the end of the month (or an action from the user/admin) to get data au.horized again, regardless of the zone you are traveling in.
If the use travels again in a zone where your data should be off, the smart roaming disables the data on the device (the USA in the example below).
The smart roaming is managed into the third TAB of the telecom policy.
New ring UI
In order to get a better understanding of the usage rings, we modify the design.
As a user has a defined usage allowance, the first ring will loop the circle up to 100% of the allowance. Over that point, and for another lop representing the same volume, a red circle starts to draw. Over this red loop, the red circle will stay full and solid.
The line usage is under 100% of its allowance | The line is over 100% of its allowance and under 200% | The line usage is over 200% of its allowance |

New billing cycle UI
In order to display always consistent data, the period selection tool has changed. Per default, it displays the current billing cycle of all the lines. The selector allows the selection of the previous billing cycles. So the information displayed is always based on a billing cycle and cannot display 2 different cycles at the same time.
It is always possible to pick any day to see its detail.
New very complete report
The reporting has changed too. On the "line page" the button "Export lines" is now preparing complete reports.
- The report export only the line displayed with the filters (and not necessarily all the lines).
- It is possible to select the billing period you want to get the data from.
- The report is now very complete with 4 tabs
- Main Report
- Countries
- Thresholds
- Apps
The report is received directly on the email of the logged user.
